I regularly host and produce GradCast, a podcast highlighting graduate student research at Western University. In Episode 479, we interviewed Emiko Muraki about her research on aphantasia and embodiment.
I hosted and produced an episode of the Psychonomic Society's podcast, All Things Cognition. I interviewed Dr. Trent N. Cash and Dr. Daniel M. Oppenheimer about their 2025 paper exploring the accuracy with which large language models (LLMs) monitor their performance on various tasks.
In 2025, I was one of the Psychonomic Society's Science Communication Interns. You can read all five of my Featured Content Blog posts online!
I am also a writer for The Dorsal Column, a publciation highlighting neurosicence research, organizing by Western University's Society of Neuroscience Graduate Students.
Science Rendezvous is an annual event that takes science out of the lab and into the public eye, sparking kids' interest in science.
In 2026, I joined the Logistics Committeefor Science Rendezvous at Western. I also served as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the main stage. The theme this year was Ignite!, a theme all about sparking new ideas.
I oversaw the organizing committee for the 39th and 40th Annual Western Research Forum, Western's largest interdisciplinary graduate student research conference. In this role, I coordinate with campus partners, managed a budget of more than $4000, and coordinated volunteers to help deliver successful conferences.
I participated in this panel discussion at the 10th annual Western Student Research Conference (March 1, 2025), an undergraduate research conference at Western. The panel consisted of graduate students and researchers, with discussion focused on our career trajectories.
I designed and presented this interactive workshop for the Inspiring Diversity in STEM (IDSTEM) conference on March 9, 2024. I use the Muse headband, a commercially-available EEG headband, to show attendees how clenching and blinking would affect their brainwaves. For anyone interested, I also introduced the concept of neurofeedback, showing how they could up- or down-regulate their brainwaves if they tried hard enough.
